Couples
Every relationship faces challenges - whether it’s communication breakdowns, unresolved conflicts, intimacy struggles, infidelity or feeling disconnected from one another. Couples counseling provides a safe, supportive space to address these issues and work toward a stronger healthier connection. Using principles from the evidence-based Gottman Method, and guided conversation, you and your partner can learn to navigate conflict constructively and deepen your relationship.
Teens
Adolescence brings rapid changes - identity exploration, shifting social groups, academic pressures and evolving family dynamics - that can leave teens feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or misunderstood. Many face mood swings, self-esteem challenges, social stress, behavioral struggles, or the lingering effects of trauma. Teen therapy creates a confidential age-appropriate space where young people can explore these experiences safely. Through techniques like cognitive-behavior exercises, mindfulness practices, and interactive activities, therapy teaches emotional regulation, healthy coping strategies and stress-management skills that last a lifetime.
Children
Children often express themselves best through the language of play. Play therapy provides a nurturing environment where children ages 3-8 can explore their emotions, process experiences, and build coping skills through creative expression. If your chid is experiences behavior issuues, anxiety, trauma, or social challenges, play therapy helps them build resilience and develop healthy coping strategies in a way that feels comfortable and empowering.
EMDR/Trauma Therapy
When past experiences of childhood trauma, abuse, or assault - or the secondary trauma carried by first responders and veterans - feel overwhelming , trauma therapy offers a path to healing. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a scientifically proven approach that uses gentle guided eye movements to help the brain safely process and reframe distressing memories. By tapping into the brain’s natural healing mechanisms, EMDR reduces the emotional intensity of painful events, allowing them to be integrated without the same level of fear or distress. This process can lead to relief from flashbacks and hyper vigilance, restore a sense of safety, and build resilience for a more empowered future.
